Sangeeta Jatia, of Kolkata, was elected as the District Governor of District 322 B1 for the year 2004-2005.
Past Governor Jatia is an Economics graduate.
A Lion since 1988 and a member of Calcutta Midtown Lions Club, Sangeeta has held many offices within the Association - Club President, District Governor and is at present the Multiple District Chairperson-Leadership of MD 322. She has served as a faculty at Senior Lions Leadership Institutes, nine Regional Institutes, DG and VDG schooling of India and also as the DGE group leader for the school organized by LCI for the past five years. She was also a member of the Mission 30 team, Team 20K and at present serves as a GMT Area Leader.
Past District Governor, Sangeeta has received numerous awards including the highest award of the association, Ambassador of Goodwill Award. She is also a Heritage club member a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow and a major gift donor for CSFII.
In addition, Past District Governor Sangeeta served as the Coordinator of the Indian edition of 'The Lion' magazine.
At the 2010 MD322 Convention, Lion Jatia has been endorsed as the candidate for the office of International Director from MD322.
