District Fund Foundation
Understanding the need to create a corpus to fund service activities of medium and small clubs, we would launch the District Fund Foundation. It is envisaged that in the course of four years, we would be able to provide a corpus fund of Rs.50 lacs. A formal system of disburserment of funds would be drawn up in due course.
This fund is created to make grants to the Lions Clubs of District 322B1 for creating their permanent projects - developmental, humanitarian, social, educational, health related and other types of service projects that support and enhance International understanding. Smaller clubs will be greatly helped through this fund for organising their own projects thus using their manpower as well as their limited finances.

Lions Dens
It has been situated at B-126 ,Metropolitan Housing Society South Canal Road, Kolkata -700046.
It has 3 storied building. Due to reason beyond control, it can not be utilized fully at present. But it may becomed fully functional in the near future.

Blood Bank
Blood Bank was set up in the year 1993 with active participation of Lions family and donations from public.During the course of time modern machines have been added with grant from LCIF.
Today it has acquired the reputation or the most popular effective Blood Bank in the part of the Country.
The Blood collected from voluntary donors is duly listed.
Date blood is made available to public at a reasonable cost and there is no commercial motive in running the bank.
There is a fully operational components unit which separates blood into fresh frozen plasma, packed cells and platelet concentrate etc. We have transfusion centre for Thaleseria patients.
Our Mission:
To provide safe, healthy, quality Blood/Blood components to those in need without discrimination of caste, religion, colours or area at economical cost and to encourage and propagate the concept of voluntary blood donation so that no life is lost for want of blood.Donate Blood, save a life, motivate others as blood donation causes no harm.

F3-Fire Cracker For Funds
The district will make available gift boxes of fire crackers against donation coupons just after Durga puja.
The quality and quantity of the fire works would make fund raising for clubs very easy through this novel idea.
